for the wide around 1800mm windows ,we suggest do three panels of window shutters

why?

because most people thinking that 2 panels are good, (900mm wide each panels)

but, 900mm is not good result for the louvers lasting longer, more wider,more chance get bow(not very, just little)

the one we use for the Vinyl louvers are all with aluminium insert, is already stronger than the normal solid vinyl,

so 3 panels are about 600mm each, thats the best look for the plantation shutters,
